By count of months that will be about many many months from now
But today I received a birthday card
He learned his lesson well
For being so forgetful, last year...
Not that I mind...
(but a birthday wish would be nice)
I have forgave him since
but his guilt remain the same
So today, I received my super-duper early birthday wish
A birthday card in a red envelope
He only wrote the shortest line
Exactly 7 words
that made me smile for the whole day
and enough to last for the countless days ahead
Perhaps, this smile will last until my actual birthday...
The card reads "Darling...it is better early than never"

Teringat akak dgn husband akak yang pelupa betul pasal birthday akak. Pun macam tu jugak, kadang2 bila teragak dan nampak barang akak suka dia belikan. Lepas tu cakap ini birthday present in advance. Tak aci tau. Sebab penyudahnya bila tiba birthday akak, senyap sunyi je. Sabar je lah.
